Our Founder
Karlin Daniel

The founder and President of KARLIN DANIEL & ASSOCIATES, INC., provides our firm and the clients we serve with an excellence of quality in the auction and brokerage industry. Mr. Daniel received licensure from the Kentucky Department of Real Estate in 1970 and has been solely engaged in the real estate, auction and appraisal profession for more than 30 years. His accomplishments as an auctioneer include being the lead auctioneer in nearly 200 successful auction campaigns per year over a period of three decades with an effective rate of 100% of the projects undertaken being sold at auction. In addition to the over 6,000 auction campaigns conducted, he has pursued a course of educational improvement within the auction and appraisal industry.

Key Personnel
Alan Frenkel

Senior Associate ALAN FRENKEL received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Iowa State University in 1977. He continued to hone his professional capabilities in the fine arts while studying abroad in Paris, France for two years. Mr. Frenkel graduated The Reich International School of Auctioneering, Mason City, Iowa in 1983 and received his real estate broker's education from T.A.S.K. Real Estate Academy in Orlando, Florida.
He has been a proud associate of Karlin Daniel & Associates since 1994 and has participated in hundreds of auction campaigns in the areas of bankruptcy, estates, municipalities, antiques, and business liquidations. The legal and financial communities avail themselves of Mr. Frenkel’s ability to identify, organize and market their assets in a manner best suited to produce the highest results. He has worked closely with secured creditors and many of the bankruptcy Trustees in conducting successful auctions of real and personal property. He is a member of the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association and Central Florida Estate Planning Council.
In order to stay abreast of current trends and technologies in the auction industry, Mr. Frenkel has earned the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) designation. This is the highest designation offered in the auction industry and is held by only 15% of all auctioneers. Additionally, he holds the Certified Estate Specialist (CES) designation, an advanced program offered by the National Association of Auctioneers for the advanced study of all aspects of selling family estates through auction.
Karen Higgins

Karen Higgins has been actively engaged in the administration of real estate brokerage activities for over 25 years - nearly 20 years with Karlin Daniel & Associates. She received her Florida license in the real estate profession in 1984 and has earned the respect of real estate professionals and other industry related field experts as an executive with great insight into the complex regulations set forth by the respective licensing entities governing brokerage activities.
Karen was the administrative manager for the Treasure Coast School of Real Estate, training hopeful licensees the pertinent Florida regulations until her employment start date of 1992 with KD&A. Her attention to detail has earned her the top administrative position with our firm and she oversees contract compliance as well as being our Chief Financial Officer.
Ms. Higgins has extensive and comprehensive experiences obtained in 27 continuous years of service in the real estate and auction industries which allows our clients, customers and staff the assurances of having a very seasoned professional on the job.
Mark Line

KARLIN DANIEL & ASSOCIATES is certain that every aspect of your experience with our organization will be satisfactory because of the extensive experience and sensitivity to client satisfaction that Mark Line and the Staff are committed to provide.
Mr. Line received his B.S. degree from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. After graduation, he attended the Reisch International School of Auctioneering, Mason City, Iowa. He received his Real Estate Associate’s training from SCORE School of Real Estate in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Line served as the National Sales Director for Jostens Inc., completing a successful career in sales and marketing that spanned more than thirty years. His concern for his customers and his ethical business approach led to many annual leadership awards.
Active community participation has been a hallmark of Mr. Line’s success. He was elected president of the Business Council of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. He has held national offices in the Lutheran Church. In Orlando he has served as chairman of the advisory board of the Salvation Army ARC. Mr. Line served a leadership role in the Central Florida YMCA Scholarship Campaign. Currently he is a volunteer and member of a standing committee for the Orange County Regional History Center.
Before moving to Central Florida, Mr. Line and his wife served as Peace Corps volunteers in the Slovak Republic, Eastern Europe.
